Freedom is a large empty room, full of potential and possibility. Discipline is the self-imposed parameters or walls of that room. Liberty is the structure of fluctuating rules that define what can occur within this theoretical room. Independence is the ability of any one to interpret the rules of the room and build within the existing parameters.
The Universe is this room; a cosmic sandbox of infinite mystery and possibility. The ultimate form of freedom and a chaos of minute and complex organization reacting simultaneously in the infinite and vast void of conscious discipline.
We are as the Universe, with an infinite potential and ability to decide what we can and cannot do. Every human being is born with an infinite right to freedom, it is not something that can be created or taken away. Freedom is equivalent to chaos, unregulated and everlasting without order. Thus as a collective we strive for discipline to control our potential for unregulated chaos. Our laws, government, traditions and religions help to define our liberties, our rules that stand to protect the fabric of our reality from drastic alteration. It is a mutual system that allows each of us to explore freedom within limit. Without the ages of crafted guidance from our forefathers, navigating the turbulent sea of possibility would lead many of us on potentially destructive paths. Our intelligence makes us an exception to the normal state of existence and a potential threat to ourselves and all that surrounds us. We make decisions and must put weight and value upon each one in order to understand our responsibility and place within the Universe. We are capable of everlasting and sustainable good as well as infinite evil in our chosen actions.
However, our concepts of good and evil do not actually exist. They are concepts birthed from the vast emptiness we suffer as a result of our constant analytical speculation on ‘why are we here?’ It is up to each of us to decide. Purpose like discipline is an internal process and a powerful drive that can override any system of control.
Good and evil are relative but are commonly linked to our innate attraction to the preservation and creation of beauty and order, and the forces of fear and destruction. Good and evil outline our liberties and strive to stand as a guideline toward discipline. We must understand both so when a decision of any magnitude approaches us, we can accept the consequences of our action that are attached to that choice. We have the freedom to be both angels and demons within our human construct. At the same time any choice is merely seen as an action of chaos or order to the natural Universe. One cannot define chaos and order as good and evil; these two concepts stand as the base for all existence: the possibility of all and infinite energy, and the possibility of nothing and infinite calm. Duality is the simplest language of this Universe, it is pure binary. Good and evil, are never a pure duality. Each action within the range of good and evil are always seen as a shade between two variables. With order and chaos, there is just the existence of one and the absence of the other. On or off.
Our freedom is infinite, our liberty is defined, our discipline is developed and our independence is experienced through our understanding of each of these. As complex as our liberties become, they are a buffer against our inheritance of infinite possibility. Our discipline within radical freedom becomes a personal control and vision of what can be. It is an independent idea of perfect order or chaos, a prompt toward utopia or hell within the scope of human curiosity and dream.
